Scotland is one of the countries which suffer from the decreasing of its population. The decreasing of the population in Scotland has a big affects on the country. It will face many problems from the shortage of its population. “Experts warned that Scotland’s ageing population meant this trend would not continue, and the fertility was likely to decline in the future” (Moss, 2007, P.6, para.4). The decreasing of the number of children that parents have has a big effect on Scotland’s population. “Yet despite the increases, the figures found that the long-term trends for Scotland are stark: people are having fewer children, living longer and even although more migrants are coming to live in Scotland, they are not doing so in large enough number to arrest the population long-term decline”. According to A. Hardie’s article, “European income prop up Scotland’s falling population”(2007, April 27). This is one of the big problems for the Scottish people. It will cause many problems to the people in the future.

The Scottish people should protect their country from these problems. They should think about the good ways to increase the population in their country. There are many ways which helps to increase the Scotland’s population. First, they should increase the number of migrants. The number of immigrants is one of the important factors which have a big effect on the number of the population in any country. The increasing of the immigrating people will helps to increase the number of the population. Scotland needs to find good ways to increase the number of immigrants. There are many different ways to increase the number of immigrants. For example, they could increase the number of students. The number of foreign students has an important effect on the Scotland’s population. When they have a high number of foreign students, that will increase Scotland’s population. Second, they should help the parents who have more than one child to raise their children. Many people in Scotland chose to have small number of children. That is because raising children costs a lot of money today. Third, they should protect the human life from getting hard diseases. There are many Scottish people who have died at different ages from getting hard diseases.

There are causes of the decreasing in Scotland’s population. There are many important factors which have a big effect the Scotland’s population. First is the number of births. The number of birth is a very important factor which affects the increasing of the population rate in any country. When the birth rate goes up the number of the population will increase. In the recent years in Scotland, the birth rate has become one of important factors in influencing the population. That the population growth has started to decrease in the last few years because of many people chose to have small number of children.

Second is an increasing in the percentage of elderly. Scotland’s population has a very high number of old people. The Scottish experts expect that the number of the population will not increase again because they have a large number of old people (Moss, 2007).

Third is an increase in the number of deaths. There are a number of people who died from getting hard diseases in Scotland. Even this number has started to decrease in the last few years. But it still has a big effect on the Scotland population, because Scotland’s population is already suffering from the decreasing of the number of birth rate. “More than one in seven adults in Scotland are living with some form of heart or circulatory disease” (Moss, 2007, p.6).

The government should find ways to help to increase the population in Scotland. First, the government should the increase the number of immigrants. Also, the Scotland’s government should try to increase the number of immigrating young people, whose ages are between 16 and 35. On the other hand, many people think that immigrating old people will help to increase the Scotland’s population. But they are wrong because young people have more opportunity to increase the population than old people. Furthermore, they will help to increase Scotland’s economy. They will able to work more than old people. Also they will increase the Scotland’s income. (Newsquest Media Group, 2007). “An influx of people from the EU accession countries of eastern Europe has helped ease the pressure since they pay taxes which go towards funding the public services and, in cases, provide these services themselves. Theirs has been a positive contribution upon which Scotland will have to depend, to some degree or another in the years ahead” (Newsquest media group, 2007).

Second, encouraging the people to have more children is one of the good ways to increase the population in any country. The government should find good ways to help the parents to have more children. For example, they could reduce the cost of children’s health insurance and schooling. These are important factors which affect the number of children the parents have, because it costs a lot of money today. When people see that they will not face any kinds of these problems when they have more than one child, I think that will encourage them to have more than one child.

Third, today we see many people die at different ages because of many different kinds of hard disease, for example heart disease, cancer circulatory disease and other different kinds of disease. Also, we see many children who died before their first day of birth because of disease. So we should spend money to protect people’s lives from hard diseases which are affect the population rate in many countries, for example, by giving them the important vaccines and taking care of their health by getting health insurance for them.

Finally, encouraging the people to get married early, is one of the important factors which affect the child population. When the couple gets married early that will increase their opportunities to have more than one child. Furthermore it will be easy to take care of them. For example, they can encourage the people by showing them the difference between taking care of children when they get old or while they are not old and how it is easy to take care of children before the parents get old.

In conclusion, the decreasing in the Scotland’s population is one of the important issues which face the Scottish people and government today. It has a big effect on to the people’s lives. Also it will cause many problems to the country in the future. So the government should find good ways to handle this problem. For example, they should increase the number of immigrants, encourage the people to have more than one child by helping them to raise their children, protect the human life from hard diseases, and help the people to get married early.

Ways To Increase the Scotland's popultion

Zn Alison Hardie’s article “European incomers prop up Scotland’s falling population” he talks about the effect of the immigrant worker on Scotland’s population. He said the numbers of arrivals increase by double. It also changes the face of cities and towns and it help to keep the population increasing. But the figure found even the number of immigrants people who are increasing the population rate will decrease in the future. Those people are not having more children, and are living longer, and the number of immigrants people is not enough to prevent the population from dwindling for a long time.

I believe that the number of the immigrants people has a big effect on the population in any country. But I think the Scotland government should find more good ways to increase the population in their country. I think the good ways which will help the Scottish population to increase besides immigration people is helping parents to have more than one child and taking care of the children from getting hard diseases.

First, the government should increase the number of the immigrants people. Also the Scotland government should try to increase the number of immigrating young people, whose age are between 16 to 35. That is because they have more opportunity to increase the population more than old people. Furthermore they will help to increase Scotland economy. That is because they have more opportunity to work more than old people.

Second, thy should help the parents to have more than one child. The government should help the parents to have more than one child. There are many ways to do that. For example give them money to help them to spend it for their children. Also help them to do the important things for their child. For example, help them to be able to send their children to school and be able to get health insurance for them.

Third, the government should protect the children from getting hard disease. That will affect the population growth because many of the children will die when they get any kind of hard disease. So we should protect the children’s lives, for example, by giving them the important vaccines and taking care of their health by getting health insurance for them.

In conclusion, the Scottish government should think about good ways to increase the population number. That population number will decline in the future. The government can do that in many ways like increasing the number of immigrants people, helping the parents to have more than one child and protecting the children from getting hard disease.

In birth boom provides temporary reprieve for nation’s falling population figure article the author talks about the situation of the population in Scotland. It mentions to that the number of births in Scotland increased more than the number of deaths, which is the first time in many decades. The recent statistic mentions to the number of the children who were born in Scotland in 2006. It is increased by 2.3 percent from the last year and it was the highest percent since 1998. Also the number of deaths decreased 1.2 percent. But the Scotland’s experts expect that the number of the population will not increase again in the future because of the number of Scotland’s old people. Toward to reforming the situation of the population and the shortage of skill the government allowed the students to extend their visas by two years after they graduated. Professor Robert Wright didn’t expect that the population would increase. He said the result of change the timing of birth caused the rise of births last year.

I believe that the ageing population in Scotland will effect the population in the future. So the government should find good solutions to help to increase the population in Scotland in the future. There are many ways to help to increase the population in Scotland in the future, like encouraging the parents to have more children, showing the benefits of getting married early and investing more money to preserve people’s lives from the diseases.

The different kinds of parent style have a big effect on children’s lives. You can know what kind of parent style a child has easily; you can know that in many different ways like the way of his talking, reacting, and thinking. We have many different kinds of life styles like authoritarian parent style in which the parent is very strict and just want their children do what they want; next, the permissive parent style, in which the parents allow to their children to do what they want, and the last kind, the democratic parent style, in which the parents give their children good advice and allow to them to do what they want. The best kind of parent style is the democratic parent style. There are many ways to show why it is the best kind of parent style. For example, it is a good way to make the children responsible for what they do, it makes good relationship between the children and their parent, and it gives the children more confidence.

First, the democratic parent style is a good way to make the children responsible for what they do. That teaches the children to be more responsible for what they should do and their parent just gives them their advice and lets them do what they want. By this way, the parent mean that they give their children their advice and lets them chose what they want, and the children are going to be responsible for their choice.

Second, this kind of parent style will make a good relationship between the children and their parents. When the parents are talking with their children a lot about what is good or bad to them that will make the children feel comfortable about their relationship with their parents. It is the opposite of the authoritarian and permissive styles which this kind of parent style doesn’t allow to discussing or giving an opinion.

Third, this kind of parent style will encourage the children to have more confidence. That when the children feel that they are responsible about what they do. They will always try to do something good to show their parent that they are good.

Many people think that the authoritarian parent style is the best kind of parent style. That they think it is the best way to deal with their children, because when they do not do that their children will do bad things or they will have bad behavior. But they are wrong, because when the children want to do something they will do it even when their parents don’t allow to them to do it. The best way is to talk to your children and give them your advice and explain to them why it is wrong. By that they will not do it and they will have good information about it.

In conclusion, the democratic parent style is the best kind of parent style. That is because it is the good way to make your children responsible for what they do, it will make them good relationship between the parent and their children, and it will give the children more confidence.

I read on that site a story about two men who were suspected of burglarizing five separate businesses in Carbondale and they were arrested by the police when they robbed a store. When the police investigated with other crimes the police found they did it.

In my opinion, this kind of criminal is very dangerous, because they have experience doing crime; they did many crimes and the police didn’t arrest them. I think they should get high punishment, because this high punishment could make them afraid from doing crime again.

“Snow Falling on Cedars” by David Guterson is the name of an interesting book. The title of the book comes from a heavy snowstorm that causes a delay in Kabuo's trial and burdens the islanders. The fictional island of San Piedro is heavily forested with cedar trees. In the midst of the cedar forests, a fallen cedar tree was a special place between Hatsue and Ishmael when both were children. And other exciting events happen in the book. It has also a lot of interesting characters.

My favorite character is Ishmael. Ishmael Chamber of San Piedro. He has one hand because he lost his hand in the war. He feels bad because of his lack of trust.However has a good relationship with Hatsue. He met her when he was 14 years old.

In the article “effort to combat child pornography would close web “ by the New York Times, the author wrote about the effort to prevent the spread of child pornography on the Internet. The initiative began allowing for the shutdown or impediment of sites that include child pornography and don’t allowed to show illicit images of manors, even in cases where there is no criminal investigation. In an inquiry this year by the house energy and committee, the lawmakers learned about aggressive effort in Britain to shut or block access to know sites. The author said “that effort, run by the internet watch foundation, result in major decline in the percentage of child pornography sites based in Britain, to 0.2 percent in this year from18 percent in 1997”. According the article, at that time in the US the percentage of the sites is rose almost 50 percent, official said.

First, the spread of child pornography gives the children bad behavior when they see that, and of cores gives the children many negative effects about sociality. There is because they worry about the people and they think all the people want to hurt them.

Second, when the internet gives sites like this, that makes the people worry about their children to visiting sites like this, and that reduces for the children the advantage that the internet has, because their parents don’t want their children to stay on the internet without their knowing.

In conclusion, the spread of child pornography is big danger that threaten sociability and life inasmuch as worries to the children, so they should shutdown or block these sites.
